Fine Jewellery Repair Terms and Conditions

This set of terms and conditions apply to all fine jewellery products housed under By Invite Only's fine jewellery capsule collection, gldsmth.

Our in-house crafter will review all repair requests on a case-by-case basis.

Repair Requests under Warranty

  1. By Invite Only's warranty covers a timeframe of 12 months from the date of purchase. This is inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
  2. Repairs within warranty will be chargeable if the item is damaged due to one but not limited to: 
    • Jewellery crushed or trampled by a heavy object (such as a car, trolley, or by foot) 
    • Jewellery damaged by accidental handling
    • Jewellery damaged due to negligence (such as exposure to acid, alcohol wipes or non-jewellery-friendly products)
    • Jewellery damaged due to wear and tear. This includes but not limited to the following: 
      • Scratches on pendants/stones
      • Deformities in the shape of Huggies
      • Deformities on the earring post
      • Expansion of chain
    • Loose Huggies clasps
    • Customised items
  3. Should the customer fail to provide any response or update within 2 months from the date of drop off, the company resumes ownership of the item(s) and reserves the right of disposal.
  4. Similar to self-collection orders, all repair requests or repaired items that have been sent down to our outlet for collection will be kept in the store for 1 month. The company resumes ownership of the item(s) and reserves the disposal right. 

Repair Requests after Warranty

  1. Repair Requests after Warranty will occur a Crafter's Fee
    • A Crafter's Fee varies and is dependent on the severity of the damage

Please note that By Invite Only reserves the right to reject any invalid request.
