Fine Jewellery Repair Terms and Conditions
This set of terms and conditions apply to all fine jewellery products housed under By Invite Only's fine jewellery capsule collection, gldsmth.
Our in-house crafter will review all repair requests on a case-by-case basis.
Repair Requests under Warranty
- By Invite Only's warranty covers a timeframe of 12 months from the date of purchase. This is inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
- Repairs within warranty will be chargeable if the item is damaged due to one but not limited to:
- Jewellery crushed or trampled by a heavy object (such as a car, trolley, or by foot)
- Jewellery damaged by accidental handling
- Jewellery damaged due to negligence (such as exposure to acid, alcohol wipes or non-jewellery-friendly products)
- Jewellery damaged due to wear and tear. This includes but not limited to the following:
- Scratches on pendants/stones
- Deformities in the shape of Huggies
- Deformities on the earring post
- Expansion of chain
- Loose Huggies clasps
- Customised items
- Should the customer fail to provide any response or update within 2 months from the date of drop off, the company resumes ownership of the item(s) and reserves the right of disposal.
- Similar to self-collection orders, all repair requests or repaired items that have been sent down to our outlet for collection will be kept in the store for 1 month. The company resumes ownership of the item(s) and reserves the disposal right.
Repair Requests after Warranty
- Repair Requests after Warranty will occur a Crafter's Fee
- A Crafter's Fee varies and is dependent on the severity of the damage
Please note that By Invite Only reserves the right to reject any invalid request.
