My jewellery is turning green. Help!Updated 2 years ago

Verdigris is the green gunk that often appears on clasps and posts. It is often caused by the presence of moisture, makeup, and other contaminants.

Verdigris can also be transferred from one jewellery to another. Hence, it is highly recommended to keep contaminated jewellery away from the others.

To clean your jewellery:
  1. Apply a small amount of unscented soap onto a toothbrush
  2. Gently brush over the affected areas
To prevent Verdigris:
  • Refrain from wearing jewellery to shower.
  • Refrain from wearing jewellery on a hot, humid day.
